Privacy Policy
This Policy explains what Fuck My Workout (“we”) collects when you use fuckmyworkout.com, and how we use cookies. By entering the Service you also agree to the Terms of Service.
1. Who this is for
The Service is for adults 18+. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a minor used the Service, contact us and we will delete the related account data we can identify.
2. What we collect
- Account: username, password hash (or passkey credentials), and a named save slot. We do not ask for an email address at signup.
- Game save: progress, inventory, world flags, and similar play data, stored on our servers and tied to your account slot.
- Technical logs: ordinary server logs (IP address, user agent, request path, time) used for security, abuse prevention, and debugging. We do not sell these.
- Optional submissions: text you send into features such as Station Mail or the Idea Desk, processed to run that feature.
3. Cookies we use
We use first-party cookies that are needed to operate the Service. We do not use third-party advertising trackers on the core play shell.
- fmw_adult — records that you self-attested you are 18+ on the entry screen. Set when you click enter; typically lasts about one year; readable by the browser so deep links can send you back to the entry page if missing. This is not used for advertising profiles.
- bc_session — HttpOnly login session after you sign in. Lets the server recognize your account on later requests. Cleared when you log out or the session expires.
You can delete cookies in your browser. Clearing fmw_adult will show the 18+ entry screen again. Clearing the session cookie signs you out.
4. What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not require email to create an account.
- We do not store player economy or achievement authority in
localStorage; that data is server-side.
5. How we use data
To run the game, keep you logged in, enforce the adult entry gate, prevent abuse, fix bugs, and improve the Service. We may access saves when investigating exploits or corruption.
6. Retention
Account and save data stay while your account exists. Server logs are kept only as long as needed for security and operations. You may ask us to delete an account; we will remove or anonymize identifiable account data we control, except where we must keep a minimal record for security or legal reasons.
7. Sharing
We may use hosting, storage, or AI providers strictly to operate features you invoke (for example generating or judging in-game text). They process data on our instructions. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the Service and other players.
8. International use
The Service may be hosted outside your country. By using it you understand your data may be processed in the United States or other places where our providers operate.
9. Your choices
- Decline the adult entry screen and leave the site.
- Log out to end the session cookie.
- Delete browser cookies as described above.
- Request account deletion through the contact channel we publish.
10. Changes
We may update this Policy. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after a posted change means you accept the updated Policy.
