Bloco do Sol Nu

When the ships tie the port, the street grows a drum and a nude sun route. Bloco do Sol Nu is Solchute's carnival street bloco for dock days—paint, brass, bare skin, and public Heat from the pier to the plaza. All men, all eighteen and up, fiction that sweats in daylight. You march, you get painted, you optional-kick on the marked corners. The harbor does not pretend it is subtle.

Dock-day parade

Hullheat Fleet and navy liberty both feed the same street clock. Porto Gostoso opens the bloco gates when the berth list says full. Light route: paint, music, dance, thin wraps optional. Mean route: same drums, plus kick-exchange posts at three corners where men brace and trade standing shots for crowd Heat.

Maré Branca season adds the white-cloth joke—enter the water dressed in white, shed to skin before the plaza turn. Not required off-season. Still popular.

Paint, music, Heat

Body paint stalls line the first block: sun disks, ship numbers, cock stripes if you ask. Brass and batucada keep the pace. Heat boards on the wall climb with noise, finishes in the open, and how long a man holds a kick post after the bell.

Dick Coin land as Bloco Credit or Solmarks toward the float you want to see edged harder. Camera crews from Take Bay need a separate stamp—street Heat is not automatic film rights.

Kick exchanges on the route

Optional. Dual stamp at the corner desk. Partner brace, standing kicks only, yield word live, medic cart half a block behind the drums. Fail or tap and you rejoin the parade painted thicker—no sentence unless you booked wheel overflow on purpose.

Verbs the street keeps: join bloco, get painted, hold the post, shed white, ride the Heat.

After the last drum

Floats break toward harbor bars, liberty mess lines, or the launch back to ship. Heat Patrol walks the edge for men who miss muster, not for men who finished too loud. The bloco ends; the port keeps the heat smell until morning hose-down.

House rule

Eighteen and up; men only on the nude route. Consent paint and consent kicks. Yield always works. Light marchers welcome—heavy corners are opt-in, not ambush.
